A recent poll by the Middle State Tennessee University reveals that Tennesseans believe some damn odd things. Significant numbers of them buy the Obama was born outside the United States and the Obama is a muslim rumors.

Check out this Times piece on Investor malfeasance

It's a longish piece showing what newspapers can do to cover an issue. The focus is on a mattress company (I know, very exciting) but it's really a great look at how outside investors can repeatedly loot a company so that they win, even though they don't produce a thing. Workers, however, lose.
